I have worked for 5 years as an independent producer of corporate video. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production. At Long Beach State, I focused primarily on cinematography for film, shooting a number of 16mm films for other students before eventually writing and directing my own projects in my final year.
After graduating, I focused my energies on learning the entire digital post-production workflow, and I am capable of handling most aspects of production and post-production: writing, directing, cinematography, editing, motion graphics and special effects. I am also familiar with all best standards and practices for final product delivery for both broadcast and web video.
To accomplish all of this, I use a variety of tools. Premeire Pro and Adobe After Effects are my primary tools of choice for editing and motion graphics/effects work, respectively. I am also very proficient with Final Cut Pro 7 and used it for many years until Apple announced they would no longer support that platform. Add to this my abilities with Photoshop, Illustrator, Soundtrack Pro, Soundbooth, and Apple Color, and I have a wide range of tools at my disposal. Ultimately, I can handle productions in either the Final Cut Studio system, the Adobe Creative Suite system, or both as the job requires.
