I have worked for 5 years as an independent producer of corporate video. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production. At Long Beach State, I focused primarily on cinematography for film, shooting a number of 16mm films for other students before eventually writing and directing my own projects in my final year.
After graduating, I focused my energies on learning the entire digital post-production workflow, and I am capable of handling any aspect of production or post-production: writing, directing, cinematography, editing, motion graphics and special effects, sound mixing and music scoring. I am also familiar with all best standards and practices for final product delivery for both broadcast and web video.
To accomplish all of this, I use a variety of tools. I work primarily with Sony EX and NX High Definition Cameras for video production. I am proficient with Final Draft for scripting, while for post-production Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects are my primary tools of choice for editing and motion graphics/effects work, respectively. Add to this my abilities with Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Soundtrack Pro, Soundbooth, and Apple Color, and I have a wide range of tools at my disposal. Ultimately, I can handle productions in either the Final Cut Studio system, the Adobe Creative Suite system, or both as the job requires.
